I have several stoneware items with what seem to be unusual colors. They are:
a 7A cap bowl (one horizontal band) in cobalt blue;
a pitcher from the small spongeband mold in bright orange;
a 5 inch cap bowl in a creamy yellow kind of glaze but no sponging. I have seen this last glaze on 7" cap bowls but never before on a 5".
I know Red Wing experimented a lot. How rare or unusual are these? What other odd color variations do you know of?
