Gary- We recently bought a 'fancy jug' at an auction. Found a similar looking one on p 148 of your book. Ours appears to be a two gallon size, has a wing about 4" in length. Looked around at some of the old ads you present in your book but was not able to find an exact match. The one you show on p 138, #22 looks similar but ours does not have the ridge around the center portion. Can you tell us about the age of the jug? Is there some utilitarian purpose for a fancy vs shoulder jug? Thanks.
