Interesting...an ebay seller advertised a salt-glaze Red Wing lid to a two-gallon crock, only to get inundated with emails about the description. She soon learned that it was not salt-glaze at all. It seems like a clear picture, and the lid looks to me like a cream color with brown fleck and a brown stripe around it. Has the petal pattern. I can't remember seeing any stoneware in that color...could this be a cooler or even a cassarole lid?
