Monday our course in Rad Path began. We were given 3 books of notes ( 1,518 pages!). We were also each given our own coffee mug - I suppose this is a strong hint to stay awake and pay attention! I have been up till midnight each night since then studying. The 5 1/2 remaining weeks are likely to fly by now! This weekend I plan to see the American Indian Smithsonian and the National Gallery of Art. Next weekend, Tom, Michelle, and Alex, our neighbors from Hanau will come to DC to see the zoo and stuff. The next weekend we have St. Pats day off to make a 3 day weekend and I hope to see Monticello. The next weekend plan to meet Dad, Mimi, Debbie, and Jemes at Colonial Williamsburg. The last weekend in March, Mom is coming and we will do lots of touring and go to Mount Vernon if the weather is ok. The last day of this course is the 6th of April. I have been invited to present a paper in Austin on the 8th of April. Will have to write the paper between now and then if it is to happen. It would be an excellent opportunity...but not sure that will actually be doable given the timing and resources. I don't even have the data for the paper yet!//L
