Kathleen I believe this to be a Brush McCoy piece. It is very reminiscent of items that they produced. The shape and decoration is a dead ringer. I have seen chamber pots and wash bowls and pitchers in this pattern. Brush McCoy used a star on the bottom of many pieces as did Star Stoneware of Crooksville Ohio but I do not believe this to have been made by them. It's not from Red Wing (North Star). Steve L.
