I have received several of these totally looking like Ebay emails, even got one from Paypal. Ebay clearly states that they will never ask for your credit card number in a correspondence. They seem to target people who use an email service like Yahoo., they just put out feelers to many different Ebay ID's, followed by yahoo.com. They hit many I am sure. I can always tell they are phony because they go to my bulk trash folder on Yahoo, the real Ebay emails get through to my regular email. Just never give out credit card or banking info through a received email. I just got one the other day saying my US Bank account had been accessed and wanted account #'s and passwords, I don't even have a US Bank account. Its just part of the www we have to deal with. Just have to be careful.
