I just completed a 1100 mile trek to the end of the eBay rainbow. In September I completed an eBay deal for a 30 gal birchleaf crock; the catch was that I had to go to pick it up. Have heard so much about inconsiderate sellers and buyers, fraudulant presentations etc but have had only good stories from eBay buying. This was one of the best. The crock is spectacular at a fair price. Besides, I had an excuse to go to part of the country I have not seen before, and make new friends. eBay has made it possible for me to aquire additions to my collection not otherwise possible and it gives me an up to the minute gauge of pricing when I get to sales and shops. Ya, many of the descriptions are good for a belly laugh. and of course: caveat emptor. But still, Hurray for eBay!
