Well Paul Thanks but I deserve little or no credit here as a couple of Red Wingers emailed me with basically the same information on this piece. Since it came from multiple sources I believe it to be true but based on what I was able to find out we may never know for sure where it came from. Based on what I was able to followup on this explaination sounds much more plausable to me. As far as value goes your guess is as good as mine. I think its a neat piece and if it can be positively verified as a piece that was produced as a possible society comemerative then I think it has some value. ebay is probably the best place to determine that value. I don't have a clue as to what the seller paid for it and he may never realize a profit but its still a neat piece. I think the society should have it but that is only my opinion. Let the bidding begin. Steve L
