It seems our own Steve Lythjohan has done yeomans work in determining the true origin of this mug. Please see the eBay listing for his explanation, which makes perfect sense. Great job, Steve! Now that we know what it really is, what's it worth??? It likely is truly a one-of-a-kind piece, but not a Society commemorative, and therefore probably merely a curiosity as opposed to highly collectible. I guess we'll find out what the market says in about 9 days;)
