Well I emailed the seller and he is very adamant about the fact that its the real thing. I do believe that he is not trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes and I don't think that the person who sold it to him was trying to do it either. They believe it to be the real thing. I personally don't believe it to be a real "period" lunch hour piece nor do most other experienced Red Wing collectors but who knows I have been proven wrong before!? I just don't think so this time.!!!!
