Doug Sainlar, Rosenberg, Tx; doug.sainlar@fortbend.k12.tx.us; found Wing Tips when I searched for Red Wing Crocks on Yahoo.com; I was looking for a source for handles for my Red Wing 20 gallon Crock. I hear that the factory still sells these handles and was hoping to be able to contact them by e-mail and get a good set. I have a 5 gallon Red Wing and the 20 gallon Red Wing crock just mentioned. The 5 gallon is in perfect condition and the 20 gallon has some very small cracks on the interior glaze. Neither crock leaks and I use them both making homemade wines.

Dear Kathleen, Thank you very much for your prompt reply to my inquiry. I appreciate it very much. I do have a question for you. Does Wally really exist or is he just an imaginary person? The reason I ask is because he doesn't answer his email. I asked Wally a legit question and really wanted and expected an answer. But alas, no answer is forthcoming. If Wally is only a web site and doesn't communicate please let me know so I can ask Bart Simpson or some other real person. Thanking you in advance. Richard Moore

Dawn Cole Minneapolis, MN dsc50@aol.com search engine -- www.askjeeves.com

I'm interested in learning something about a vase that belonged to my grandmother (she lived near Rochester, MN). It is about 10" tall, off-white color with aqua interior. The surface has some interesting rows of horizontal bumps near the middle of the vase. The bottom says "Red Wing USA 1210". The number is not stamped or marked ON the surface but is part of the mold of the vase itself. Can you tell me anything about it? I'm not a collector, but I really love the design and would like to find other similar pieces if they exist. Thanks.

Deborah H. Schirm Chardon, Ohio schdeb92@aol.com Through aol, found a site selling Eva Heisel? Picture showed little bird looking shapes.

I found a plate at a flea market in Atlanta about 25 years ago. Sort of triangular, with a blackbird and cornstalk. The first plate got broken, but I loved the pattern and have since found a few more pieces. I'd like to know more about it.

Hi! My name is Kelly Lindner and I'm from Celeste, Texas. My eMail address is KJoLindner@aol.com. I found Wing Tips by searching the internet for Red Wing Stoneware. I have acquired the "itch" back in 1992 when my father passed away. My husband purchased me my first two pieces--an awesome water cooler and a butter churn. These were to be in memory of my father, well I have "just a few" pieces now. Somehow, I just don't think Red Wing quite made it to Texas much. This site seems to be wonderful. I love all the different links to go into. I will be back!!! Thanks so much!!!

nancy jchapman5@KC.rr.com I have enjoyed going thru your site's. There is so much to go thru. I throught I had a special piece of Redwing. But have discovered instead of an old piece, dated 1620, this must be the number for a list. I would be interested in knowing the value of this piece when you get settled in Germany. This has been really informative. Have a safe trip.

Phyllis Bruneau 112 River Oaks Drive Cold Spring, MN 56320

joefil@cloudnet.com

I found your sight in an attempt to identify a very, very, old brown pottery jug that appears to be Red Wing. I found this jug around 1974 when an old grainery structure from the turn of the century was being torn down on our family farm near Hutchinson. The farm dates back to the middle 1800's and the building was built around 1880. This jug, which looks like a liquor jug shoulder jug, was buried under about 2 feet of dirt and oats. Recently someone told me that it resembled a very early form of Red Wing. Beehive shape about 1 quart. I will attempt to get a photo submitted to you in the near future and possibly you can help me identify it. There are no markings on this jug but it is in remarkable condition considering the dirt and grain packed inside of it when I cleaned it. Any advice on how to identify this object or books I could look at would be appreciated. And, are there Red Wing pottery jugs that you know of that do not display any visible markings? Thanks for you help. I truly enjoyed your site and feel it is the best Red Wing site on the web. Thanks for an enjoyable morning of searching through your site. Phyllis Bruneau
