I would like to know who I can send a picture to in order to find out if a large cobalt decorated crock/churn I have is a Redwing. I haven't come across it so far in my research. Thank you for taking the time.

My Mom, Dad & I hand picked a set of Damask dinnerware at the Factory outlet in the late 60's/early 70's. I also got the violin wall pocket on the same trip. Mom grew up in Minneapolis area and always wanted a set of Red Wing dishes so...

I have a 12 place setting of Red Wing dinner ware in the Bob White pattern and since I no longer am hosting dinner parties of that size, I am interested in selling the set. This set was purchased by me in 1958 and is in excellent condition. I would like to see your ads of similar Red Wing pottery dinner ware so I can determine a fair value of my set.

We will be looking for more in our West Virginia Homestead. THEY THREW NOTHING AWAY. I love old things with History, but I'm not sure what to do with it. We are getting on in years and purging to downsize. Any suggestions?

Awesome site, very helpful. I've known lots of folks over the years whom love Red Wing, due to it's color and diverse styles. I like your brushware and vintage pieces the best, the early 1900's items. Thank you for sharing and helping folks with your knowledge.

I collect Utah advertising stoneware and just love the Red Wing pieces. I especially like the screw top fruit jars with the Utah advertising. Pretty hard to find but I now have three and working on the fourth. My favorite piece is a 12 gal. crock with advertising for Bountiful Co-operative Mercantile Institution Bountiful, Utah with a big 12 and an Oval. My wifes grandmother used it to make pickles many years ago. I borrowed an example of every size and company of Utah screw top crocks for a display at the Utah bottle show last year. There were only six items on the table and three were mine. Others must be out there but I'm not aware of them. Sad how many pieces were made and how few of them are known to exist. I'd like to get one or more Utah churns too.

I'm looking for cobalt blue glass dinnerware. I've seen pictures of the Martha Stewart Everday Cobalt Blue Glass Dinnerware and was told it could be purchased at Kmart. However, no Kmart stores in my area have this particular style. I need at least a 16 piece set of plate, mug, salad plate and bowl (service for 4 -- but if I can find it and the price is right, I would love to get service for 8). HELP!!!! Thanx. Linda

I purchased a Red Wing Vase/Planter. It is black and has the number M1463 on the bottom along with the words Red Wing. What can you tell me about this concerning age and value. It has no chips etc and seems to be in perfect shape. I noticed that it does have the three little dots on the bottom from the rack on the kiln. Thanks. Karen

Today, while at my antique shop Woodnuts & Company, I bought a 4-gallon Red Wing jug with the scrolled "4", the red wing, and the Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. stamp. I learned from your website that my jug is a "4-gallon Imperial" because of the shoulder and scored spout. Your website is a wealth of information. Thank you. last year on my 50th birthday i was presented with a few pieces of red-wing from my aunt that once belonged to my mother years ago in the 40's or 50's.included were a pair of candleholders that were not marked but very near resemble the design of the other pieces I have. Also on my 51`st birthday last month i was given another piece which is a cream pitcher.they are quite lovely and I will cherish them always!

I now know after looking at every single picture posted on this sight that what I recently purchased at our church sale is a Gray Line Pail in mint condition. What I don't know is what is it worth? I was in antiques and collectibles for 12 years and so I knew Red Wing items were good, but I have been out of the business for 13 years and I haven't kept up with prices. I would appreciate any info. I also have a couple of other stoneware pieces I now think may be Red Wing. I have collected all kinds of stoneware bowls for years. I LOVE THEM!!!! I didn't realize there were so many types of Red Wing. I feel like I am fixing to catch a BUG! Ha! Red Wing Bug that is. I look forward to exploring the rest of this sight later. Right now though I need to get to bed as I have been on this sight for 4 hours and I have a doctors appointment in the morning! Thanks again. Starr*

I am a major distributor of video equipment and looking to move into movie production. I have 7 companies here in the US looking for me to travel to west Africa and shoot a minimum of 8 porn movies set outdoors and with housegirls as well as a new African Nude Contest and magazine. They've identified a large market and are willing to pay up to 150,000 per movie. They're also looking for homemade African porn for a combined series. Do you have anyone interested in movies? If they send some I can present the models and fly over to complete both movies and contest transactions as well as establish a partner there.

I have a vase We recieved for our wedding in 1955. It has a 75 REDWING sticker on it with "1878-1953" on it.. It is gray with pink inside of it.. It has downword swirls(I think that's how to discribe it) on the outside. I had it for 47 years in a back cupboard because I used smaller vases.. and when we moved I dicovered a small chip out of the rim of it.. Is this of value? Thanking you in advance...

What a fantastic and useful site! I can't believe all of the information provided here, I'm totally blown away! I asked Byron a couple of questions and sent him a few pictures of a Red Wing Grey Speckled on Pink 7.5" Vase that I have for sale. It is in flawless condition and because of its mouth, I *think* it could be some kind of flask or pitcher but I'm just not sure. Maybe some of your kind readers/members will be able to help me out! Thank you for such a wonderful treat! Pamela Shanley Chicago, IL

I have been through every page available on this Web-Site, very informative, but not able to get the info on my Artware piece marked - RED WING USA - 763. One other person had a number 763 but it was in white. Mine is in what appears to be Jade Green w/yellow interior. Found Picture of it in Gallery by Belle Kogan, but that one says it is 7.5 inches, where mine appears to be 7.25 inches on a 4x4 inch base. I don't see any questions currently since Feb 15 '07 and in your discussion forrem, there are some very strange postings. Thanks for the great Web-Site

I'm trying to locate two twins named Kevin and Keith in Salem, Oregon. I have a matching set of seven bowls all in excellent condition (no cracks, chips) that I'm told that they might be interested in purchasing but I can't seem to locate them. I've looked online but can't seem to find them. Do you have any information on these two and how I can get a hold of them. Thanks, Mary Jayne Hensley

I only recently was told by a friend that the dinnerware we have been using for special occasions is Red Wing Pottery, Village Green pattern. We bought a starter set before our marriage --in 1951. I just want to know more about it; it is NOT for sale. Is there a book which specializes in Red Wing dinnerware?

I have a different logo on one of our small crocks. It looks like a "rib-cage", but not exactly. I know it is a Red Wing product, but it must date to the late 1890s or early 1900s. My step-dad told me his mother kept cooking lard in it. I also have three huge crocks that his family made "home brew" in and also sauerkraut. The No. 25 has handles. I salvaged them from his homestead, so they have seen their share of daily use. Thank you, Roxie Wellman

I just purchase some red wing potter dinnerware. I have a large coffee pot or larger server? I believe it is 1955. I purchase it because I like it. But I wish I could learn more. My husband has a Red Wing book but I think it specializes in crocks, etc. Any special web cite I could look for more details for my new purchases. Oh, I also purchased a footed cake plate. I believe it has brown leaves on it and watermelon, catalope on the two pieces. How can I find more about the items I purchased today. Thanks, Penny

Hi! I was trying to find out more about a Red Wing Art Pottery vase #164 that I have and stumbled on your search. I have this listed on ebay, but the more I look at it, the more intrigued I am where it came from. It was a gift to me years ago and was just cleaning house. It is stamped Red Wing Art Pottery and the number 164 is embossed in the base. Do you know anything these? (It is green and about 7 1/2 in tall and 6 in at the widest part of the vase - has a lion design on it)

WE have recently stumbled across a RW vase we think??? If you email me at the above address could you please help determine if the vase is authentic or not. It appears to have 4-5 numbers on the bottom of the vase 31419 or B1419 it is faint and not etched in like I have seen other RW items. Thank you very much for any help that you can offer. Michelle

Thanks for the information site. I have recently purchased a 15 gallow Union Stoneware piece with blick writing and the two elephant ear pattern. I bought it to make pickles in, but now I am not sure I need to use it for this purpose. It has no cracks or blemishes and looks great sitting in my kitchen. It remeinds me of something my great-grandmother would have used. Thanks, Chris

HI I have a set of red wing dishes in the Morning rose pattern and i am interested in replacing some pieces that have broken. The handle broke off the black tea/water pitcher that I have. Can you give me information on replacements? I am temporarily living in Rochester, MN and could travel to Red Wing quite easily. Is there availability there? Thank you Mary Decker

I really like the Bob White Quail Series of Redwing. So, I am wondering who is the designer/artist of Redwing that created this series. Was it during the time of Eva Zeisel? I see some resemblence of her designes in the dishes and art deco. Thank you, Mary

Great site, very informative, good pictures. I submitted a question and picture of a vase last week and am still waiting for a reply. I noticed I had several typo's in the text of the question. Hope you can still understand it. It is about an irregular vase #505. Thanks.

I was looking for information on red wing crocks and found your site very helpful. I also wanted information on some dinnerware that my wive has. I found the pattern on your site (pink spice) of the soup tureen but could not find the picture of the salad bowls. They have an unusal shape they are not round. They have a overlaying lip to help hold it better. Anyway I enjoyed your site and it was very helpful Thanks, Duane

I have recently discovered red wing pottery since moving to the northern midwest and taking a quick weekend trip to red wing. I had seen some interesting dinnerware in some antique stores not realizing it was made by the "jug and urn" company. I am very interested in learning more--thank you for the website. Where is the collector's society based out of? (Red Wing??)

I have been collecting RW for about 5 years. My daughter indtroduced me to it while she was living in Seattle. Her uncle had given her a piece and she was trying to find more. The more pieces I found, the more I like what I saw and that was all for me! I began with Bob White and have expanded into all areas of RW including pottery (not crocks because they are too big). I have filled my basement with my extensive collection. I LOVE anything that is Red Wing! I go to Red Wing, MN about 5 or 6 times a year and feel like I've died and gone to heaven. This is where I would like to spend the rest of my life. Red Wing Rules! Carrie Erwin

I found the site very interesting. Had no idea how popular Red Wing pottery is. We had been to Red Wing Mn. about 10 years ago and went through the factory. I also purchased at an antique store in Michigan a 4 qt. crock of which I am taking particular care. My mother had a set of Red Wing Chrysanthemum. It came to me after she passed away. I gave it to one of my daughters and we were hoping to find a dealer in Illinois to evaluate the pieces for us, but according to your dealer listing there is no one in the Chicago area.

Shari Dyke Azusa, California Karocel1@aol.com I just did a search for Red Wing because of a crock that was found in my mother's yard after her recent passing earlier this year. I had never heard of it; I doubt she knew anything about it but a "dealer" who was a neighbor told me I'd want to hang on to it and research it. That's what I'm doing. I may have to send a picture to have someone help me identify what I've really got. Thank you.

Doris Long Fairland, Indiana dll10152@yahoo.com I found the Wing Tips wep page when searching the net for information on a butter crock I recently purchased with advertising "Kaukauna Klub, Manufactured by THE SOUTH KAUKAUNA DAIRY COMPANY, KAUKAUNA, WISCONSIN, It spreads Like Butter Copyright 1933." I wasn't sure it was Red Wing or Blue & White. I have just started to buy at auctions to resell. Your web sight was a treasure chest of information from how to describe my item on ebay, to reference books, and examples of various Red Wing pottery.

Jean Woytek, volunteer, Colorado History Museum, Denver, Colorado I found the site looking up a plate donated to our museum from a person in Trinidad, Colorado. It is probably a dinner plate, the back is stamped with the logo a red WINGTIP Hand painted. Doing research for my cataloging I happened on this site, the history and name of pattern was what I was seeking. Thanks for your information.
