The Wing Tips - Red Wing Ad System is allows a user to submit and maintain Red Wing related ads in a discussion group like format. Because of the format, your ads are placed on the web immediately after you submit them.

It's quite simple to place an ad on the site. From the Wing Tips Home Page, find the "Red Wing Ads" link; this will display a page consisting of three frames. From either the top or bottom section of the screen, look for and select a "Submit an ad" link.
Once at the "Ad or Ad Revision" Form, begin to enter your ad text. Hit the "Click me ONCE (and only once)" button to submit your ad to the system.
Please be patient after you have submitted your ad; it may take a few seconds to see the Ad Confirmation page.
Tell me about the fields in the ad submission form
You'll notice that some of the fields in the ad submission form have a bold label while others have a label that is not bold. The bolded fields are required to be filled in to submit your ad; the others are optional.
Category: A general category for your ad. Pull down the list item to review possible Categories. The contents of this field will be displayed in the ad browser.
Ad Type: The type of submission you're making. Pull down the list item to review possible Types. The contents of this field will be displayed in the ad browser.
Short Description: A 35 character, short description of your ad. The contents of this field will be displayed in the ad browser.
Price: If placing an ad for a single FOR SALE item put the price of the item in this field. If selling more than one item place "See Ad" in this field.
If placing a WANTED ad fill in the price field with "N/A" or an approximation of what you'd be willing to pay.
Your Name: Your name.
City/State: This is an optional field. Fill this field with your city/state or region of the country.
E-Mail: Required! This is the only way someone can contact you about the ad.
Telephone: This is an optional field for you phone number.
Ad / Ad revision text and links: Place a complete description of your ad in this box including a price for all listed items. Be sure to include any links you have to images on the web.
How do I get more information about an ad item?

How do I mark items in my ad as being SOLD?
Navigate to your original ad and hit the "Update Ad" link; this will bring up the Ad Submission Form. Select the appropriate category for your ad, select an Ad Type of "Item Sold", fill out the rest of the required fields, and place a quick note in the Ad / Ad Revision box telling what is sold.
How do I supplement my ad with additional information?
Navigate to your original ad and hit the "Update Ad" link; this will bring up the Ad Submission Form. Select the appropriate category for your ad, select an Ad Type of "Supplement Ad Text", fill out the rest of the required fields, and place a quick note in the Ad / Ad Revision box telling what's new.
How long will my ad stay on Wing Tips?
Your ad will stay on Wing Tips for 3-4 months. Byron purges old ads as he feels fit.
