The long awaited Ray Reiss, Red Wing Dinnerware Price Guide is finally here and boy did they go like hot cakes at the convention! Talk about cutting it close, Ray told me they picked it up from the printer just days before the convention.

This 40 page, magazine style, guide is full of color and black and white photos of all types of Red Wing dinnerware and original Red Wing dinnerware advertisements. The table style layout of this guide (pictures of dinnerware patterns vertically with pictures of accessory items horizontally) immediately tells you that Ray put some thought into the design of this reference. The back of the guide is a picture matrix of many of the dinner plates Red Wing produced supplemented by Ray's cats, Magenta and Gray!

The value of this Price Guide goes far beyond providing you with mere suggested prices of Red Wing dinnerware; in fact I'd suggest the alternate title of...

"Field Guide to Red Wing Dinnerware Pattern Identification"

If you're new to Red Wing dinnerware you should have one of these just to assist you in determining which line/pattern you're about to buy!

I've reviewed many of the suggested prices listed in this guide and highly suggest you use this as a "Guide" and not the "Bible". For the most part I agree with many of the prices identified but have found that, as a dinnerware freak myself, several of the patterns are over stated and a couple are truly understated!

For $12.95 you can't beat the price of this reference; it could potentially save you 5 times that amount on your first purchase of Red Wing dinnerware.
