The official RWCS auction was held in the gymnasium of the Red Wing High School. The place was packed with bidders both in the stands and chairs set up on the floor. Bids at the auction totaled to $165,850 for 293 items, that's an average of $566 per item!

The entire gym was packed to capacity as the auction went on for several hours.
