Cheryle, As you have seen I do not like to moderate this board often, you are correct that everyone is entitled to their opinion. As you and Rusty are both long time contributors to our site I valve your participation and expertise! I have received quite a few emails about the last set of posts about the RWCS. Lately sarcasm has lead to posts that do not relate to Red Wing and name calling. My goal was to stop the potential problem before it started, as I recall even you or Rusty requested more moderation. When a lot of sarcasm and pointless name calling posts emerge it dilutes the points of concrete well thought out posts when looked at by decision makers. It is my belief that a good number of RWCS BOD members do look at this site, but are not active posters. What I do ask for is constructive criticism that cites facts so everyone can make up their own mind and to reduce sarcasm. In the instance of Mr. Reiss’s books the section advising of how to bleach pottery could be cited or you have stated non RW shapes were in RWAP2 list these shapes etc rather than saying that Ray did not see any art pottery till he wrote the books.
