Rusty - I'm reading your post at 4:30 AM (the cat wanted O-U-T) so am not at full speed yet.....but will try not to wander off topic too far. There has been a great deal of noise over the RWCS and it's cult of personality - thank you chairman Mao - and my feeble attempt to organize the masses came to naught. No one sent any lists to nail to the cathedral door so ain't no reformation going on no place no how. I hate to hammer home a point, but that includes YOU.... your post here was detailed and spoke of the roots of the disaffection you/we feel after all these years but it's a complete waste of a good ulcer if Wing Tips is the only place it gets aired out. (I fully realize that you may have been beating your heads against the wall already with the RWCS in ways I'm not aware of - so when I say these things I apologize for info not in my ken.) I also agree that it's dang near impossible to change such an organization from the outside - the only permanent way is from within as leaders or organized groups at board meetings....somehow the image of a group of us standing at a meeing, holding banners, and chanting "power to the people" is a bit too 60's.....but that's the fact. So what does all this jabber mean at 5 AM in the morning ?? Means that I've seen a lot of real angst out there, and also some real childish (verbal) behavior - but most of it is full of sound and fury but signifying nothing! UNLESS you/we want to actually do something useful and ---- well, that's where I run out of steam because I feel that everyone here prefers to whine instead, including me. Just seems like a waste of energy that might actually be put to good use. Gotta make a real adult decision here folks - put up or shut up.
