Just thought I would add a positive note to the Wing Tips page. I am not as experienced as those who have posted earlier as I have only attended Convention the past three years. I have had a wonderful experience every year. Sure I have had a few deals go south on me and even been bitterly disappointed that I did not walk away with a piece I really wanted. However I try not to let that detract from the fact that I met numerous friendly collectors and characters. Both Society members and non-members, even a few Board members. Overall I had a good time and enjoyed hanging out in the Pottery Parking lot, Larry's jugs, the educational classes (especially the dump dig finds) and at the Saturday show and sale. It is sad to hear some find the Society distasteful but to any new viewers of the Wing Tips page have heart that some of us still enjoy Convention and collecting.
