Geez - more activity on this subject than the latest Red Wing reproduction fraud or the Ebay pottery classification scandal. Wonder what is causing this horrendous rift in the diehard Red Wing collectors and the elite? The same things that have been going on for years which can be summed up as: (1) The "Haves" - we got more money and can buy up anything - vs. the "Have Nots" - I'd die for a piece of Bobwhite. or (2) We have more pieces of Red Wing than anyone so therefore we know more than you little people. and my favorite: (3) "I have an AWESOME collection but don't ever beg to ask me for any information on Red Wing - I won't stoop that low." Now kiddies, we gotta learn to play nice together or the big pottery maker in the sky will take away all our toys until we behave. A society is, after all, a collection of diverse people with a common interest - a common SHARED interst that is. Time to do a bit more sharing, don't ya think?
