Thomas -- I don't know of any one purposly copying Red Wing pottery. Strange as it seems there is a lot of Red wing out there that looks like it just came out of the factory. There are a few reproductions out there but mostly in the high end cookie jars. Another thing you must lookout for are pieces made from Red Wing molds sold when the factory closed. As you collect you will be able to tell the difference. If it has a date scratched in the bottom or a name you will know it was made some where other than Red Wing Potteries.
