Sorry this is late. I am still trying to get over Bryon's bombshell. Yes, this Convention was a cut above the rest. Met more new friends and saw lost of old friends, too. The only line I was in was for button sales. They were cute with a twist, thanks to the Puget Sound Chapter. The commemorative is a difinite winner. So many parts. Check Ebay for a picture of it and the button. I'll bet John and Holly are sitting with their feet up somewhere. Ron Linde lead a discussion "A Walk Down Memory Lane" with 9 people who actually worked at the Pottery. Better than interesting. The Kids View just gets bigger and better. The value of our collections will remain high with all these young collectors interested in the Wares. They are very interest in anything stoneware. A BIG thank you to Sue and Wendy. The seminors were packed. I did miss Hellen Bell's and I'm sorry. Sandy does such a great job of finding people to learn from. Will I ever learn all there is to know about my collection. NO! It was a wonderful evening for a picnic in Covell Park. Good food, weather and no bugs. I thought the Display's were extra special this year. Very dificult to choose the best of the best. Barb Brown pulled that all together. The biggest surprise of all was that the gym during the Show and Sale was cool, temperature and other wise, for the first half hour or so. Wonder how Pete and Cindy managed that. It was nice having all the sales in the same room this year, too. The cruse was filled. We didn't get tickets. :-( There were a lot of gray shirts being worn this year. The biggest thank you of all to the volunteers for making the 25th the best ever. It could Not happen with out you. Anyone who can fill in what I know I left out, please do so.
