My original letter to the RWCS BOD and Mr. Newkirk primarily contained one statement and four questions. Here they are again:
1 - Inform you (BOD / Mr. Newkirk) of the project. (statement)
2 - Ask for any feedback you have concerning this project. (question)
3 - Determine if the RWCS and Mr. Newkirk might want to play a part in the project to further enhance its benefit to the collecting community. (question)
4 - Are you aware of any copyright laws we would be in violation of if this Index were published on Wing Tips? (question)
5 - I suspect that we could (somehow) work together to provide this service? (question)
After review of the BOD’s response, I conclude that the organization failed to recognize this as an independent effort of the Wing Tips community and seemed to ignore the four questions posed. Additionally, the BOD seems to have (in their own minds) taken “Control” of the project.
