Here’s an excerpt from my original letter to the BOD and Mr. Newkirk to clarify this project…
…This index will consist primarily of key words associated with articles and pictures; we WILL NOT be reproducing any text or pictures from the newsletters as this would obviously be an infringement of copy right law. Once this database is complete it is my intent to create a web-based application on Wing Tips that will allow a user to query the Index for key words and receive a list of newsletters / articles / pictures that matches their query… I have done some research into the copy right implications of the index and, based on my interpretation, find we would not break any laws by publishing this index on Wing Tips…
