Greetintgs! I am a novice collector of stoneware in St. Louis and recently found a double handled 5 gallon salt glaze jug with two elephant ear leaves in cobalt on the face. I am searching for a possible period date and value of this piece. It is in excellent/near mint condition. It has the so-called turkey eye drippings on the top and no apparent cracks or chips. It's quite lovely. Thanks in advance for your help and expertise. John in St. Louis
