Tom, Thank you, for your quick response to my questions. As I read more of this web sights info. I came to the conclusion it was older than I thought also. Due to the price you gave me, would you say it was a hard item to locate? I purchased it at a garage sale that had been going on for at least 10 days,(for a song I might add) Almost everything else had been sold, but this piece had Christmas wrapping paper in it. Of course, I had to ask if it was for sale. I guess you can figure the outcome. I looked on all the auction sites last night for one that was up for sale but, I could not find one. It is definately in perfect condition. Not even a hairline crack. I am pretty good at grading pottery as I collect Van Briggle. I am considering putting it up for sale, there is a Van Briggle piece I've had my eye on and that would just about cover it. Thank you again for your info. you sure made my day! Teresa
