Kathleen -=- You should know by now that everyone on the board has something to say. Its the politics of the job. Your request to cover the convention was approved with the same restrictions as MidWinter.
It was a long and hard Saturday covering everything from the convention to the changes in the by-laws that will appear in the Newsletter when it comes out in June. I won't go into what the changes are but read your newsletter closley as there are quite afew changes.
Sunday morning was used for the presentation of bids for the Newsletter. We also went back to work on the changes in the by-laws. Some things had to be tabled because we had to be out of the room by noon. These items will be taken up at the summer board meeting on the 7th of July, the day before convention.
If the membership likes the changes in the bylaws then we had a very productive weekend and if they don't we might just as well stayed home. It means change and change is inevatible.
