Tom, I brought a 9 inch scarlet and bay glazed vase in to school and placed it under the geiger counter and found that the orange in the glaze was radioactive I was getting anywhere from 500 to 800 counts per minute depending on where the reiger counter was placed. In the process I was attracting a lot of attention from my classmates at first because I had a vase in school then evan more when they found out it was radioactive! Tom to my knowledge orange was the only radioactive color made because Uranium Oxide was the main ingredient in the orange glaze
