The "Spring Fling" in Arizona was a great time. First we enjoyed sightseeing going to the Grand Canyon, Prescott and Sedona. All beautiful spots. (We did even wake up to 4 inches of snow in Prescott but it was beautiful and did not last!) Our visit with Marie Murphy was very enjoyable. She had some great stories to tell and very interesting. We were treated to some great Southwestern hospitality from all the Southwest Wingers and especially Michelle and Kent. Its always great sharing Red Wing stories with others. We did hit some shops. Saw a few pieces of Red Wing and did bring a couple home. Found a nice advertising jug from Canada which has done some traveling!!! The weather for picnic was super. 80's and a slight breeze. Kent led us on a hike up the butte behind his home which was enjoyed by all who went.
