Kathleen -- You will never know how much you missed by not going to Arizona. We got down there on Wednesday afternoon and drove to Flagstaff and where we met Pete and Cindy May. Thursday morning we went to breakfast with 2 more members of Gopher Chapter, Frank and Mary Plank. After a short drive to Sedona we went to visit with Marie Murphy (Charlies Wife) After a couple of hours of visiting with Marie we took her to lunch. After lunch Marie guided us on one of the more beautiful drives through the big red rocks in Sedona.
Friday evening we had a party at Michelle Peterson's, who put this all together and what a great job she did.
Saturday we had a picnic and informal meeting Wlliamsons house. Believe me you have never seen so many bean pots. Every shape and size.
Sunday Michelle, Jessie and I went to a Mariners ball game, where they beat the Brewers 12 - 4. Then that evening we took Michell out to dinner for her effort in getting this together.
Not only did we have fun but we got warm and dried out. That is just a quick idea of what we did. I did leave out all the antique malls and shops that we went through. Out side of that and having a great visit with other great Red Wing collectors, You didn't miss a thing. I think it should be a yearly thing.
