I really feel bad that newcomers didn't feel welcome at the Mid-Winter. We always try to greet members in a friendly way during our room sales. This conversation is the best part of the "convention",please try to come again, you will find yourself becoming more comfortable every time. I think it would be a good idea in the future to give a special ribbon to first timers at any of our events as it does help break the ice for some.As for where things should be posted, Wally brings up a valid point but this site was made for any Red Wing discussion and we should recognize that. If people felt lost at the Mid Winter this is a good place to bring that up so other members can see we need to be more open in our dialog with new members. When I first posted on this forum I was alittle uneasy, but we are all interested in what others are saying or we wouldn't be on here in the first place. I hope we are able to continue this site we need it as the RWCS has grown so large it helps us keep in touch with our community.
