Byron, I know you don't want ebay advertising on your site -- but this is a posting that I hope will spur a discussion.
I saw today on ebay a posting for 3500 pieces of Red Wing. The seller wants at least $200,000 for the items. Someone told me that they have more than 1000 pieces of Rum Rill alone for sale.
I'm new to collecting Redwing and Rum Rill. My question for the regular users of WingTips is whether you guys have ever seen such a large sale. I'm wondering if this is very common. Do you guys think that such a flood of items on the market will reduce the prices of Red Wing pieces in general?
I'd love to hear comments from more experienced collectors about all this.
