Hey all:
You may have noticed by now that we got a "Condition Assessment SIG" at the 1999 Mid-Winter Get Together in Rochester. I, for one, am really looking forward to moderating this meeting as the topic is near-and-dear to my heart; especially since dealing with Red Wing on eBay. Don't get me wrong, I still think there are a lot of people buying damaged goods face-to-face, and hopefully that will be part of the discussion, but eBay is really what made me interested in this type of SIG.
Sooo, as much as I hate to say it we've got to recognize that the E-Beast plays a part in our day-to-day lives... I think it's about time that Wing Tips began to offer some sort of eBay-Centric service to our community. But what would that be?
I guess we could encourage the use of Wing Talk for more E-Issues? Maybe we could implement an E-Talk discussion group? I don't know here guys (and gals), what is it that Wing Tips could do to enhance and support your use of eBay?
I'm really interested in your feedback. Should we stay out of it? Should we play passive watch dog? Should we provide a forum for buyers/sellers to air their disputes?
Let's hear what you have to say cause I won't do a thing unless I get some feedback!
