Dino Fire, as a Membership Co-Chair for the society I am in full agreement that we need to survey the entire membership. I would like to suggest that you seek furhter input for the other board members as to what other questions they may want included in the survey. Understanding the needs of the entire organization is not always an easy task. Generally not nearly as easy as listening to a vocal minority. I believe that your idea of a survey would go a long way in helping the board understand the needs and wants of the entire membership. Much to the dismay of many that will read this post, I believe that a web page is not the great panacea for the organization as it relates to our educational and communication needs. At present, I believe that there are many other issues that I believe must take a higher priority both in board time, which is very limited, and financial commitment.
