Time after time I have sat in at board meetings where the topic of the day was "What do we do with the money?". The recipients of our generious donations are both worthy and greatful. Exciting things have and will be done. However, with the latest discussion about the value of the newsletter, it occurs to me that expansion of the Red Wing Collectors Society web-site should be vastly funded to fill the educational and informational gaps. Why is it that the web-site doesn't have the minutes of the October board meeting on the site? Our newly elected secretary, Sue Jones Tagliapietra, is certainly capable of getting the minutes to our web-master in two or three weeks. Why isn't this done? The dates of the Mid-Winter have yet to be posted on the web-site. My point is, that with adequate funding our web-site can inform and educate member and non-member in a more timely manners. Comments, suggestions, explanations or tonge-lashings, please, from our elected board. Kathleen
