Perhaps the most appropriate solution to this is to discontinue the classified section of the newsletter. It is improtant to remember that the main goal of our organization is that of education. Certainly the newsletter is one of the most efficient methods of doing this. It is also important to remember that, in order to comply with our non-profit status, we must remain an organization commited to enhancing those educational opportunities. If the ads are the only reason our membership wishes to receive the newsletter I would dare say that we should no longer continue to go to the great expense of producing one. As suggested in an earlier post, there are perhaps more efficient ways by which to communicate items that are available for sale.
