It is likely that the concern about the arrival of newsletters relates to the For Sale section in the ads. Most of the other material could wait a few days.

If the board would give notice to the members that the ads would be posted on the RWCS web site on a specific date, the date could easily published ahead of time, this would give all members equal access to the information at essentially the same time. Yes, I know, there are some folks without a computer. Most can make arrangements to be informed if they are looking for a special piece. The newsletter is for collectors, not dealers.

The problem here would be that anyone with internet access would also be able to see the information. The question is, do the sellers really care who buys their wares? I doubt it.

With the availability of ebay and other auction sites the days where the newsletter has a corner on the market are gone forever, it is just a question of how long it will take the membership to accept it. My personal feeling is that it will be a long time. Too bad.
