After 14 years as members of the Red Wing Collectors Society, my husband and I finally joined our State Chapter. We felt we wanted to be with other people who share our interests in collecting Red Wing on a regular bases. Last Saturday afternoon a group of "lovers of the wares" got together at a members home. Stoneware, artware and dinnerware abounded. Beautifully arranged and artfully displayed. It was fun to see how other people live with their treasures. After the business meeting there was show and tell. Some of the Winger passed around their lastest acquistions and told how the piece fit into their collections. We, of course, had lots of questions and everyone was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Our host and hostess served a delicious repast and all to soon it was time to depart. We are already looking forward to next months Holiday Social. Some States have well established Chapters.
