Concord Dinnerware

Year Line Introduced: 1946

Comments About the Line: The Concord line had the most patterns of any other Red Wing dinnerware lines.

Patterns Comments

Lexington (Rose)
Came in white background with red rose. Discontinued in the early 1950's.

Chrysanthemum
Chrysanthemum accessories came in gray or metallic.

Zinnia

Supper Tray

Zinnia accessories came in yellow, Ming Green, gray, or copper.

Spring Song

Spring Song accessories came in Copper Glow. One of our Wing Tips friends tells me she has purchased some Spring Song accessories in a light blue; this color is not documented in the Newkirk/Bougie dinnerware book.

Willow Wind Blue

Willow Wind accessories matched the plates.

Iris
Iris accessories came in Mulburry.

Quartette was the only pattern in the Concord line to come in solid colors: Ming Green, Mulberry, Copper Glow and Chartreuse.

Red Wing didn't do much to help us identify this plate, it has no stamp or markings on it!


Fruit
Fruit and Fantasy pieces have a very distinct light pink background.

Fantasy
Fruit and Fantasy pieces have a very distinct light pink background.

Lanterns
The Lanterns pattern is distinguised by a yellow background on the plates and accessories.

Magnolia


Magnolia Snack

Magnolia hollow ware came in gray, chartreuse, or metallic.

Lotus
Lotus accessories came in gray, chartreuse or bronze metallic.

Morning Glory (Pink)
Morning Glory pieces came with either pink or blue flowers with accessories in green, gray or yellow.

Morning Glory (Blue)
Morning Glory pieces came with either pink or blue flowers with accessories in green, gray or yellow.

Blossom Time
Blossom Time accessories came in yellow or green.

Nassau
Nassau has hollow ware with a dark brown glaze.

Nassau, Bud, and Harvest were produced only for a short time.


Bud
This 7" Bud plate is one of around 15 known pieces of this pattern. The plate sold for $450 at the 1997 RWCS convention!

Special Note from Dave Newkirk:
There are three known pieces that I am aware of- The 7 1/2" salad plate sold at this year's convention. A pair of salt & pepper shakers A relish dish. If any other pieces exist, they are unknown to me. Let me know if you know of other pieces.


Harvest
Nassau, Bud, and Harvest were produced only for a short time.

Leaf Magic
Leaf Magic was originally produced in 1952. It's leaves four colors came from the solid colors of the Quartette pattern.
