The General terms detailed in this series of pages are meant to be used in briefly describing clay products. A good example of when these terms would be used is in the description of an eBay auction item.
It is intended that the list of General terms be very short; you should be able to describe every piece in your collection using these words.
It's appropriate that every general term listed here be accompanied by text giving more detail of the piece. Only an item in perfect condition is adequately described with a single word, "MINT."
