Definition of "Factory Second" Condition

Dictionary Definition: Second - Of second or inferior quality or value.
As it pertains to Clay Products: Clay products in Factory Second condition are free from production damage that would make the piece un-usable for it's standard purpose.  A Factory Second will have no post-production damage but may show slight wear.

Items in Factory Second condition will have no repairs.  Production damage that may be present in an "Factory Second" piece is very similar to that of pieces in "Excellent" condition:

Factory seconds that contain under-glaze cracks must still be usable for their standard purpose.  Any factory seconds that are damaged so much that they are not usable are considered to be "Damaged."
